Saw the DRAGON FISH π again at Wuse Market, Abuja! π³ Yams bigger than my legs, cow skin, intestines, live chickens, turtles and enough peppers to set my mouth on fire. ππΆοΈπ³π¬ Welcome to Wuse Market in Abuja! So many people told me to visit this place, and walking through it gives you a proper look at everyday market life in Nigeriaβs capital. The food section alone has everything. Mountains of enormous yams, dried fish, spices, nuts, meat, cow skin, intestines and, of course, peppers EVERYWHERE. Nigeria wouldnβt be Nigeria without spicy food. ππΆοΈ Then I reached the animal section with chickens, ducks and even turtles for sale. Walking around alone as probably the only white guy in the market definitely attracts attention, and plenty of people recognized me from my videos as well. At times I wished I had a local with me simply to explain what everything was. But that also created some of the best interactions. βWelcome!β βTake a snap with me!β βCome see this!β Almost everyone I met was smiling, joking around and happy to explain what they were selling. Local markets are always among my favorite places to explore when traveling. You see the food people eat, the products they buy and, most importantly, you actually meet the people. And Wuse Market delivered all of that. β€οΈπ³π¬ #abuja #wuse2
