You’ll often hear people say, to sprint faster you need to produce more force. Strength can raise your force producing output/capacity, but sprinting is still a skill. How you position yourself, where you strike the ground, and how efficiently you use the strength you already have can all change your output. Sometimes the fastest improvement comes from something as simple as changing the starting position or cleaning up the arm action. That’s a big part of what I cover in Speed Kills. It breaks down sprint mechanics, programming, acceleration, max velocity, plyometrics, and how all of these qualities fit together. Maximum Output, the brand new follow up to Speed Kills, is coming September 1st with completely new programming and a detailed breakdown of what I’ve changed and why. And Strength X Speed Block 1 is live now for a limited time. This is exactly how I train: speed, power, strength, muscle, and enough variety to make training fun again. Block 1 is only available for 30 days before it comes down and Block 2 replaces it. #sprints #sprinting #sprinttraining #getfaster #speedtraining
