I went to Point Reyes National Seashore yesterday. It felt like the edge of the world. It reminded me of the time I worked on the U.S.S. Ford. I would stand in the hangar deck and look out the bay doors. I would hear the ocean waves, and maybe —if I listened intently enough, the hum of the ship. It is hard to listen intently these days…I am always ruminating. On something, someone, some time past. I’ve been so blessed to experience so much nature the last few months. I’m thankful God allows me to live in such a place where it’s so accessible. I am excited to share more with you soon. I won’t place any “sounds” on this post. I just want you to enjoy this with me. Note: I do edit my photos, here’s why: I shoot in “raw”. This was with my iPhone. Sometimes I need to tweak the editing as a “raw” photo is shot in a flat color profile as to provide maximum flexibility in post. 🙂
