The title ‘High Horses’ carries a playful double meaning. It refers literally to the horses suspended above their obstacles, while borrowing from the expression “on your high horse,” introducing a subtle sense of humour and confidence. At the time I painted this artwork, I knew I was going to paint so many planes and other aircraft that I thought I’d break it up with an idea I had for my ‘Crack’ Collection but ran out of time before my exhibition in Dubai. These artworks will be available for sale once my upcoming show in Berlin (2-4 Oct) has concluded. These will be sold via my website on the release date which will be specified soon to all email list subscribers. Ref.
