Everyone knows my deep love for nurungji (toasted rice), so turning it into a paleta should come as no surprise! It’s very similar to the viral brown sugar boba ice cream bars, but with barley tea and toasted rice bits instead of boba. These turned out SO GOOD. They have a delicious toasty, nutty flavor and the rice is perfectly chewy. The cream base is not only smooth and creamy, but also slightly chewy in the best way.
