More tips and more on my course and membership: Release & Restore goes deep into the somatic side of facial tension. It's for anyone who wants to undo years of stress, trauma, or emotional holding and get their face back. True Face membership is a convenient system for facial wellness. Easy daily routines in 10 minutes or less, real structural changes over time, and personalized guidance. More tips + info: This little muscle by the nose scrunches with disgust, irritation, and anger. Yes, there’s a lot to be disgusted with in the world. But holding tension here means the facial feedback loop will keep you feeling this way more and more, also while pinching in the center of your face over time. How to work here: - Barely apply glide because you want control. Pause and hold along the length, then flush out with a separating motion. - Medium or gentle pressure. Especially because we have less glide. Every other day max, not daily, so the tissue can repair. - Breathe, shoulders down, until you feel it soften a bit. This is somatic! The slow holds interrupt the constant low-key gripping. You might feel it twitch at first, or feel the center of your face open and lengthen. That pinched center changes your features more than people realize, and it's one of the main ways we reshape the face over time and get stuck in an emotional pattern.
