Florida transportation officials are telling law enforcement agencies that Flock license-plate reader cameras installed on state road right-of-way have to come DOWN if they weren’t properly permitted. Yep. Those little cameras popping up everywhere, quietly scanning plates as cars roll by? Florida: “Yeahhhh… about those.” 👀 The debate over Flock cameras has already been getting spicy — privacy, surveillance, who has access to the data, where the cameras can legally sit — and now we’ve got another chapter.
