Rescuing a reactive dog is so much more than just taking in a dog that suffered a traumatic past. When I chose Steven… Steven chose me. My job was to protect him… but he protected me. My purpose was to heal him from the things he carried from before I had him… but he ended up healing me during the hardest times in my life. This grief is a nightmare that I don’t know I’ll ever wake up from. We recorded an episode of The Emmizzie’s Podcast to honour my tiny baby and all of the amazing memories we shared.
