Replying to @Kalynn Lemak My baby boy Steven suddenly passed. I’ve been getting messages for years about how my tiny baby brought smiles to you all on the days you felt like you couldn’t. His eyes were the first things I saw in the morning and the last thing before bed for almost 7 years… he took his last breath in my arms and every morning without him has felt incomplete since. I catch myself waiting for him to come into the kitchen to grab a piece of banana when I make my smoothie… I look at the window when I come home to see if his little head is poking through the curtains waiting for me… I still catch myself saying “tiny baby” by habit when I’m cutting an apple so I can give him his piece… but he doesnt come this time. I may have rescued Steven… but he really rescued me. He came into my life when I was struggling with severe depression and drinking everyday... I wouldn’t leave my house for weeks at a time… only to take him on walks and then back home… I spent every hour of my life with him as my little shadow and I would give anything to have him stalk me one more time. I’ve mentioned before that he has DCM and that has been a traumatizing journey to say the least… Thank you for loving my tiny man with a tan with a plan who knows a guy named Stan but not a guy named Dan 🤍
