If I could call myself 10 years ago, I don’t think I’d warn her about every difficult moment ahead. I’d tell her to trust herself. I’d tell her that leaving one identity behind doesn’t mean losing who she is. It can mean finally discovering who she was always meant to become. I’d tell her that the hard seasons will shape her, the painful ones will deepen her, and the unexpected ones will lead her toward a purpose bigger than she can see right now. I’d remind her to be present with her boys, believe in her voice and stop questioning whether she is enough. Most of all, I’d say: Keep going.
