Before sending your child back to school, take a quick look at their backpack, lunch bag, jacket and other belongings. If their full name is displayed where everyone can see it, consider changing it to initials, a family code or a unique symbol. Any necessary contact information can be placed on an interior label. Knowing a child’s name doesn’t automatically make someone dangerous, but it can allow an unfamiliar person to sound familiar and trustworthy. This is a small change that helps protect your child’s personal information while still making their belongings identifiable. Save this reminder and share it with another parent. 🎒 #BackToSchool #ChildSafety #SafetyTips
