⚠️CRAZY WEATHER IN NYC, PLEASE SHARE AND HELP US REMIND PEOPLE TO STAY SAFE/TAKE THESE FLOODS SERIOUSLY!⚠️ Record-setting rain hit New York City today, sending flash floods throughout the city’s streets and into basements, schools, subways and vehicles in the nation’s most populous city. Governor Kathy Hochul declared a state of emergency, urging New Yorkers to stay home and singling out those who live in basements to brace for the worst as first responders already rescued over a dozen people from stranded cars on roadways that looked like lakes and basements that filled up like bathtubs as more rain fell in a single day at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, nearly 8 inches, then any other day since 1948. A month’s worth of rain fell in Brooklyn in just three hours as the area was hit by some of the storm’s most intense rainfall rates Friday morning. Please join us in thanking the first responders for their life-saving help and let’s all pray for the safety of those in these hard-hit areas — share this with your followers and tag people, celebrities and influencers who need to see and also share this as we must remind everyone to stay safe and take these flood warnings seriously because fast-moving floods like these are very dangerous!
