Let Sally show you how strong she is! When Sally arrived into the care of our friends at Edgar mission a little over a month ago, her emaciated, parasite-riddled body was so weak she could not even lift her head, let alone stand. But the team worked tirelessly throughout the days and nights, making sure all Sally’s needs were met - nourishing her body, daily rehabilitation sessions in her sling, exercising her once limp limbs, even hand-feeding her the most succulent pieces of grass and ensuring she was completely comfortable. Now after 29 determined days, Sally is walking on her own and she’s a great example of the both power of kindness and rehabilitation!
