Weight loss is NOT the goal of the glucose hacks. And I know that talking about weight can be triggering, so if this topic isn’t helpful for you, please feel free to skip this. Also, a few important notes: ✨ A small glucose spike after eating can be NORMAL. We are not trying to have a flat glucose line. The goal is simply to avoid large and repeated spikes. ✨ When I talk about “fat burning,” I’m talking about metabolic flexibility — our body’s beautiful ability to switch between glucose and fat as fuel. Insulin after a meal suppresses fat burning; that does NOT mean that one glucose spike makes you gain fat. ✨ What often happens is that steadier glucose levels can help with hunger and cravings, which can change how much we naturally want to eat — without counting calories or restricting foods. Some people lose body fat when they start the hacks. Some don’t. Both are completely okay. Weight loss is not proof that the hacks are “working.” There are SO many other reasons to care about your glucose levels: energy, cravings, mood, metabolic health, and feeling good in your body. ❤️
