Blessed Autumn Equinox, witches. This time of year is my favorite, yet it’s colored by an ever-increasingly hostile country to those who walk on the other side of the street - Trans folks, immigrants, BIPOC & PoGM - and this equinox I’m thinking of … ✨ What ancestors to call in for liberation, justice, and communal protective work? ✨ What ancestral lineages that hurt & harmed that can be tended to, healed, carried better? ✨ What medicines to make & what herbal allies to call in for the winter months for support in grief - how can I share this with my community? ✨What sacred spaces am I cultivating? What communities am I a part of? ✨ How am I tending to my altars and thresholds and self so I can better hold space for others who need it? Rooting into ancestral magic is how we do this.
