Officials in Lower Makefield Township, Pennsylvania, have decided not to hold a 9/11 ceremony at the Garden of Reflection after sunset because it conflicts with a Jewish holiday. A township representative said it will move forward with morning and evening ceremonies to pay tribute to the lives lost but will not hold the "Remembrance of Light" ceremony because it coincides with Rosh Hashanah. Chris Rooney, whose cousin John Sammartino was killed in the terror attack on the Pentagon, said this decision is an insult to the victims and their families.
