The Pilot Hi-Tec-C uses a tiny pipe-style tip and gel ink to produce incredibly precise lines, reaching ball sizes as small as 0.25mm today. First released in 1994, it helped spark a new generation of ultra-fine pens and is still being made more than 30 years later.
