BREAKING NEWS: US halts all immigrant visa applications This is no longer a 75 country pause or 39 country ban. ALL countries are now unable to move forward with interviews for immigrant visa applications. This would effect anyone trying to bring family members or immigrate to the US under employment based green cards. This does not affect non-immigrant visas like tourist visas. This is despite these applications paying all fees and following the legal process as set up by Congress. Who knows how long this “temporary pause” will last considering the last one made it 9 months and was only struck down in court.
