It’s no surprise that people oppose these massive, resource intensive projects in their town. In Oklahoma, a community already facing severe drought lost 3 million gallons of water due to a data center leak. Even when things don’t break, data centers produce ungodly amounts of pollution, noise, and strain local power grids. And they are MASSIVE water hogs. But Trump says you’ll be backward and poor if you don’t let a data center take over your town, so there’s that.
