How Gim (seaweed) is Made 1. Harvest fresh seaweed from the seaweed farm. 2. Wash thoroughly in fresh water. 3. Finely chop with a knife. 4. Spread the seaweed thinly onto square frames. 5. Sun-dry for about a full day. Special thanks to the gim influencer @~~ for the invitation and hospitality! This dried seaweed is perfect for Gimbap. Brush it with sesame oil and salt, then roast it for delicious seasoned Gim Gim-bugak Recipe (gim Chips) 1. Glutinous Rice Paste: Mix water and glutinous rice flour (2:1 ratio by weight) 2. Stir over low heat until the paste is formed 3. Spread the paste onto the Gim (seaweed) 4. Dehydrate at 60°C for 4–6 hours 5. Flash fry in 200°C oil for 10–15 seconds 6.
