High Yield Savings accounts are a great tool for getting yield on the cash reserves you keep, but make sure you fully understand the company you’re lending your money to - this is not an ad for anyone product or service either. Personally I use CIT Platinum Savings and a combo of Bask Bank High Yield Savings and the Bask American Airlines mileage savings both of those are around 3.75% tho you can get hugher with direct deposit and new accounts. Both are banks I also make use of Fidelity Cash Management accounts for no fee atm and I use their brokerage accounts with a combo of FDIC and SIPC.
