Busy Philipps trusted a feeling she couldn’t explain. In an interview with People, the actress said she had spent years saying, “My brain feels broken.” Despite having no obvious symptoms and being told by her primary care doctor that she didn’t need the scan, Philipps underwent the elective MRI in February. It revealed a mass on her brain, which was later confirmed to be a grade 2 oligodendroglioma. Philipps had the tumor removed in March and does not need chemotherapy or radiation because it was caught early and removed. “My brain does not feel broken anymore,” she said.
