Today is #WorldElephantDay! WWF’s Kerry Cesareo recently traveled to the remarkable Dzanga Bai, a place unlike any other, where large groups of elephants gather to socialize and mine for rich minerals. "It’s not just the beauty and presence of forest elephants that wows, but how essential they are to their entire ecosystems. How they disperse seeds, trek pathways through dense foliage, and help to change and grow forests so biodiversity can thrive. It’s a powerful reminder of how interconnected healthy ecosystems truly are.” Kerry hopes this video captures even a fraction of the awe she experienced there and inspires your own reflection on nature.
