I was twenty four years old and people were telling me I was the king. That is intoxicating at any age. At twenty four, with a room full of young guys looking up to you, it rewires how you see yourself. You start believing the normal rules do not apply to you, and that belief is where it went wrong. Not one big decision. A thousand small ones I let slide because I had convinced myself I was the exception. The people I kept around me made that easier. Choosing them was on me. Nobody put them in that room but me. Here is what I know now. You cannot dabble in it and stay a good person. There is no version where you step over the line once and hold everything else together. You have to stop, and stopping is a decision you make by yourself. When success came the second time, with the movie and the speaking, it did not touch me the same way. Not luck. I already knew who I was with or without any of it. Full conversation with @Patrick Bet-David
