omg @ the photo the vet sent 🤣🤣 Please don’t leave your cats at home for two weeks. Having an automatic litter box, automatic food dispenser, and automatic water dispenser does not excuse the fact that your cats still need proper care. Machines fail. Litter boxes jam, feeders get stuck, water dispensers grow bacteria if they’re not cleaned regularly. If any of that happens on day 5 of your trip, there’s no one there to catch it. Cats also need more than food and a clean box!! they need YOU. Affection, playtime, someone who notices when something’s off. Cats are experts at hiding pain and illness, and subtle changes (a skipped meal, a new hiding spot, different litter habits) are easy to miss on a camera feed but obvious to someone checking in daily. Even with my own two, I wouldn’t leave them unsupervised that long. If you’re traveling, get an actual sitter! Your cats deserve a person and not products.
