I was deeply humbled to receive the Bob and Leila Macauley Humanitarian Spirit Award from @americares last week. Americares is one of the most impactful global health and disaster relief organizations on the planet. Working with them for the past 20 years has been a privilege. Thank you to President and CEO Christine Squires, to my incredible fellow board members, to my dear friend @shondarhimes for presenting me with the award, to my beloved Bellamy Young and Jean Smart for graciously hosting the evening. And to everyone who came out and met the moment with $2 million dollars raised to bring sustainable health to communities in crisis here at home and around the world!
