We were living in the artists community in Islington Mill, Salford and we had just released ‘Thats Not My Name’ and ‘Shut Up and Let Me Go’ on limited vinyl. We had just had most record labels sat in our living room watching us play shows to our friends and artists and we had decided to sign to Columbia record. The first thing we did with the advance was buy a baby grand piano that we put in our kitchen and ‘Be the one’ was the first song we wrote on it together that week.
