TNHT Staff: @hausofaaron __________________ Neighbors, a 12-year-old in Maryland was put in a situation no child should have to face. __________________ According to police, last Saturday morning, 42-year-old Ronnie McCain allegedly attacked his girlfriend and began choking her. The woman’s 12-year-old son, Xavier Leathers, then intervened to defend his mother. __________________ Xavier grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed McCain. He told a local news outlet, “My thoughts right now is just that I saved my mother’s life, and if I wasn’t there, I don’t know what would have happened.” __________________ Xavier said officers commended him for his actions: “The police told me that I did a good job. I saved my mother’s life, and I should never have been put in that situation to begin with.” __________________ McCain was treated for minor injuries at the hospital before being released into police custody and charged with assault. 🎥: @wusa9
