I don’t have the words for what it feels like to stand here and know I made it to this moment. And I don’t just mean physically standing here in Ireland. (But that’s breathtaking too!) I mean mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually. In life. I’m 114 pounds down from the version of me who never could have imagined a life like this. And somehow, I’m here with 17 people who only knew me through a screen, but trusted me enough to cross an ocean and share this experience with me. That part gets me every time. Because this moment isn’t just about how far I’ve traveled. It’s about how far I’ve come.
