Garlic Chilli Shrimp with Homemade Crusty Bread 🍞 For the bread: 500g strong bread flour 375ml warm water 7g active dried yeast 10g salt Mix the warm water and yeast together and leave for 10 minutes until foamy. Add the flour and salt, then knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and leave to double in size. Shape into a ball, place into a floured banneton (or bowl lined with a floured tea towel) and leave for another 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated Dutch @lecreuset_middle_east oven at 250°C with the lid on for 20 minutes, then remove the lid, reduce to 220°C and bake for a further 20 minutes until golden. Leave to cool completely. For the shrimp: 300g raw king prawns, peeled 4 garlic cloves, finely sliced 1 tsp fresh chill 50g butter 2 tbsp olive oil Juice of ½ lemon Handful of chopped parsley Salt & black pepper Heat the olive oil and butter over a medium heat. Add the garlic and chilli and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Add the prawns, season with salt and pepper, and cook for around 2 minutes per side until just cooked through. Finish with the lemon juice and parsley. Slice and lightly toast the bread, spoon over the garlic chilli shrimp and all of that buttery sauce.
