☆ Meet Banker ☆ On Saturday, my mom and I went to our local open-intake shelter (@BG/WC Humane Society) to donate a bunch of kitten food and other supplies they were in need of, and I ended up leaving with a new foster dog. Banker is a beautiful Australian shepherd estimated to be around 7 years old. Yes, I know he’s not a berner… but he has a similar paint job 😉 He was surrendered a month ago by an unethical breeder when they no longer had use for him. Banker is heartworm positive and is currently receiving treatment. He’s also a few pounds underweight. He is an extremely timid boy right now, and some of his behaviors I’m observing suggest he’s never lived inside a house before, so everything is brand new to him. He seems curious, though, so I have a feeling he’ll start to come out of his shell in no time. I promise it only gets better from here, Banker boy! 💙 ______ Shelters and rescues everywhere are overcrowded and overwhelmed.
