Your love becomes the bridge between their past and the life they were always meant to have ❤️ Our sweet foster, Nyx, found her forever home 🥹 Her name is now Delilah and she’s been thriving in her forever home in Colorado for a few weeks now. It’s never easy saying goodbye to a foster, but seeing her living her best life in her new home makes the heartbreaking goodbye completely worth it. She was adopted by the absolute sweetest couple and she is already SO loved in her new home. Delilah’s new family is technically fostering her while she finishes her heartworm treatment, but as soon as she gets a clean bill of health in a couple of months, they will officially adopt her. The rescue coordinators and I felt it wouldn’t be fair to her if she stayed with me throughout the entirety of her heartworm treatment when there was already a perfect application on file that met every single one of her needs. Today is a big day for her as she had her first heartworm injection at the vet. These injections can be pretty tough for some dogs, so wish her luck and send her all the prayers and good vibes for the next few days!
