I’m in CHICAGO for @Jay and Silent Bob reasons (our 2nd Annual CHRONIC CON starts TODAY at the Hyatt O’Hare) but I stumbled onto Jake & Elwood’s set! Behold Daley Plaza, where #thebluesbrothers movie ends! This is where the police, the army, the “Illinois Nazis” and everyone else converge to capture a pair of rhythm and blues men who are simply on a mission from God! I would never have gotten to #jayandsilentbob without Jake and Elwood, so this was meaningful for me to see on my way to do #chroniccon press yesterday in one of my favorite cinematic cities in the world - where Ferris played hooky, where Batman flipped an 18 wheeler, and where David Basner came through for his Dad (I’m a huge fan of Gary Marshall’s ‘Nothing in Common’)! #KevinSmith
