When I tell you I have been to farmers markets on almost every continent, and the best one I’ve found is not in Italy, it’s actually in Turkey. This market is every Friday, in the town of Fethiye, and did not disappoint. As a holistic chef, I love tasting local produce wherever I go, and this one was something else. The farmers come down from the mountains, where they spend their winters, to sell what they grow all summer. Talking to them, you can feel how much love goes into every single crop. This was a market walk hosted by our hotel @Yazz_Collective, lead by their head chef.
