Day one of my county tour across New Jersey. I kicked it off in Morris County, celebrating more than 50 years of Canal Day—honoring a great American treasure, the Morris Canal, and the dynamic local leaders who keep our heritage alive. From there, I visited the Phillipsburg Fresh Stop Market, where community members are creating access to fresh, healthy food right where people live and thrive. And I ended the day at the Hunterdon County 4-H Fair, surrounded by the next generation of New Jersey’s farmers, innovators, and leaders—young people who give me so much hope. Today left me grateful, energized, and more determined than ever to keep fighting for the communities I love.
