No one said you have to hate editing... I recently edited my entire pregnancy announcement video on the Dell XPS 13 plus and did things a little differently... Instead of sitting inside of a dark cave, I choose to take my editing to the beach on a nice crispy morning. I cranked up the FHD touch screen display and utilized the 32 gigs of ram to crank out a few dedicated hours of editing! The graphics card ripped through the 4k footage without a stutter. That got me thinking.... what if everyone edited in a way that actually suited them?? Would their projects be better? Would the work be more enjoyable? Mine was! I'm a small laptop & a big view kind of guy! With the XPS 13 plus I was able to have the same professional editing experience I would in my office, but with the added convenience of being able to do it from my favorite place in the world. The USB-C Charging made it super easy to charge it back up on my drive to lunch, just in time to get a few more hours of editing done. All in all, no excuses. If you don't enjoy something, change how you do it. I definitely won't be editing inside anytime soon!
