True story: I never knew stepping into a hair apprenticeship that 20 years later I would develop a skill that I feared most. No one prepares you for what’s possible in a career beyond the Salon chair. I always knew I wanted to be more than a hairdresser , I saw people educating in my industry and asked myself how I could do the same. I had the knowledge and the skill set but didn’t yet have the voice strong enough to speak and share it all. So for years I waited for the “perfect moment” the truth is there isn’t one and the skill of speaking and presenting is developed through trying , watching it back and learning. - My voice now speaks with confidence , the very thing I lacked 🖤 If your lacking confidence I encourage you to try. It’s ok if you fail, we all start somewhere. Just don’t look back and regret not giving it a go because you never know what opportunities trying leads you to. - #speakingtips #publicspeaker #speaker #motivation
