Dolly was the definition of a pioneer, who carved out space for everyone to shine and broke all barriers. Sadly, our paths never crossed in this life but somehow, it always felt like they did. DP inspired me and so many others so much.. And made such an impact on my career. She even collaborated with Freddy Fender, a hero of mine. She created a moment in country music that Latinos will forever be grateful for. I can’t thank her enough for everything.. Gonna go cry my eyes out now.
