The Final Chapter — Coming Home🤍 I want to take this moment to thank everyone who supported me through this process. I never shared my surrogacy journey to change anyone’s mind about surrogacy. I shared it because I wanted women like me to feel seen. Women whose path to motherhood didn’t look the way they thought it would. Women who have dealt with loss, infertility, grief, or simply never got to experience the “normal” order of things. Sharing this has been incredibly hard, but in some ways, incredibly healing. I’ve dealt with scrutiny, judgment, ridicule, and more hate than I could have imagined for the way I chose to bring my son into this world. But none of that will ever be louder than what my children will know: Their mother chose them. They will know that I went through hell and back to get to them. That they were prayed for, fought for, and wanted in ways I don’t even have the words to explain. And to my surrogate, who I’m so lucky to now call my dear friend: I love you. I will always love you. And I promise that this little boy will grow up knowing exactly what you did for him and for our family. And now, we go home. 🤍
