What an incredible blessing 🙏 Last year was really the first time in my career I was entrusted with significant roles in films of this magnitude. As such, I already found it unfathomable to receive nominations for 2 different disciplines - one for acting (Manila’s Finest), another for musical scoring (Sunshine). To actually receive an award was beyond my wildest dreams. Truth be told, I was going through a challenging time, and decided to accept acting projects mainly to force myself out of my hiding place, and perhaps figure out what’s next in life for me. That i have been so warmly welcomed and recognized by no less than the members of the entertainment press - my heart overflows with gratitude. To the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors - THANK YOU 🙏🫶 I share the Best Supporting Actor award with my fellow Manila’s Finest actors, led by Piolo Pascual, Romnick Sarmenta, Joey Marquez and Enrique Gil, all of whom were so generous and supportive to this relative newcomer.
