Anxiety is you choosing, on purpose, to focus on the wrong future. The future doesn't exist yet. It's uncertain by definition. Nobody knows what happens next, which means it could be anything. It could go better than you can imagine. But that's not the version you're playing, is it? Out of every possible future, your mind picked the worst-case scenario, put it on the big screen, and hit replay. The rejection. The failure. The loss. A movie of something that hasn't happened, may never happen, and you're watching it fifty times a day and calling it 'being realistic.' That's not realism. Realism is admitting you don't know. And if you don't know, then imagining the disaster is exactly as made-up as imagining the win. Both are fiction. You just keep choosing the horror movie. And your body doesn't know the difference. Cortisol, tight chest, bad sleep, hesitation. You're paying the full physical price for a future you invented. So here's the shift. Same imagination. Same unknown future. Different choice. When you catch yourself rehearsing the disaster, ask: what if it goes right? Play THAT movie with the same detail you gave the catastrophe. Anxiety and vision are the same machine pointed in different directions. You're already visualizing all day. You're just doing it against yourself. Aim the machine. ๐ค Which movie have you been playing lately? Be honest. ๐ #anxiety #identity #manifestation #mentalhealth #innerwork
