I’ve wanted to visit the Dolce & Gabbana bar in Puerto Banús for ages… and honestly? Save your money. €25 for a margarita that, once you remove the enormous brick of ice, amounted to about an inch of actual drink. The bar area ? White plastic seating with black piping and really nothing particularly special about it. But the final straw was the olives. We were served a dish with green olives that were dark brown, soggy and clearly mouldy. When I pointed it out, I was initially told that was “just the type of olive”. 🤔😂😂 No babe. 😳 I replied in Spanish, “Well, you eat it then.” Suddenly he decided to go and check the jar… and we were brought a completely different dish of olives. Yes, the view over Puerto Banús is fabulous — but there are plenty of places around the port with fabulous views. I recommend plenty of places, but I’ll tell you when I don’t recommend somewhere too. ❌ This one is definitely NOT a Rachel Recommends.
