these are 10 sewing essentials I’d 100% repurchase if I had to start from scratch! (Everything is linked in my bio) 1. Sewing Machine (mine is the brother CS7000X, and I highly recommend for beginners) 2. Thread and Bobbins (take a peice of whatever fabric you’re working with to the store to find the perfect color match) 3. Ruler (a bigger “quilting” ruler is HIGHLY recommended) 4. Fabric Scissors (don’t cut anything but fabric with these!!!) 5. Pins or Clips (I use both!) 6. Seam Ripper (for your mistakes) 7. Needles (you’ll need to replace these frequently, it’s not as hard as it seems) 8. Different Sewing Feet (for different stitches with your machine) 9. Soft Tape Measure (look for one with fiberglass so it won’t stretch over time) OPTIONAL 10. Cutting Mat and Rotary Cutter (makes cutting so much easier and sometimes more accurate)
