This was a monumental weekend for nearly 1,500 beagles beginning the next chapter of their lives, and Pilots To The Rescue was honored to help carry them toward safety. 🐾✈️ This was not our typical rescue flight. It was part of a large-scale emergency response where timing, coordination, and transportation could change everything. When that many vulnerable dogs needed help moving quickly, the question became: how do we get them from where they are to the rescue partners ready to care for them? That’s where Pilots To The Rescue came in. We helped transport as many beagles as we could safely carry aboard Big Paw, moving them one step closer to medical care, comfort, and eventually, loving homes. Thanks to YOU, our passionate supporters, we were able to say “yes” when large-scale rescue partners needed animals moved quickly, safely, and with compassion. We’re deeply grateful to be part of this massive collaborative effort alongside @Big Dog Ranch Rescue, @NYC Second Chance Rescue 🐾 , @Animal Rescue Consortium, @SNARR Northeast Rescue, @olddominionhumanesociety, @Every Last One Rescue, @ARF Hamptons, @Husky House, @AMA Animal Rescue, @Lucky Dog Refuge and @liftedrescueranch, all working together to help save these beagles. Large-scale missions like this take a village, and every role matters. This mission was flown by our volunteer pilots Stephen and August, whose time, skill, and dedication helped carry these dogs toward a better future.
