Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., renewed his push late Monday to release more of the government's investigative files on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. "It has been a year since the president signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and the government continues to withhold over 3 million files," he said in a House floor speech, noting that he and other lawmakers have introduced a second Epstein Files Transparency Act. "We want perpetrators of these crimes to be investigated and prosecuted," he added. Massie, a frequent target of President Donald Trump who lost his primary bid to a Trump-endorsed challenger, then read 14 names of Epstein associates, including people who have been brought to Capitol Hill for interviews with the House Oversight Committee.
