Our new surf ambassador is just as at home charging Pe‘ahi in her backyard as she is crossing channels and flying through the sky on her foil. Hailing from the windy isle of Maui, she’s leading the charge for the next generation of women’s big-wave surfing and showing there are no bad conditions, just the wrong choice in equipment. “If it weren’t for Maui and the wind that I grew up with, I don’t think I would be crossing channels and competing in the sports that I do today,” she says.
