Some artists give us songs. #Dolly gave us permission to be a little more ourselves. For generations of LGBTQ+ people, she was more than an icon. She was a voice of warmth, humor, acceptance, and unwavering love. She stood with our community, spoke up for us, and reminded us that there was room in this world to be exactly who we are. Today, we’re holding her music a little closer.
