Meet Aidan - S1E1 “Make Me Something” Today I’m kicking off a series that’s sole mission is to highlight bartenders. In truth, I started this account to do this exact thing: tell stories of those who serve us.
Aidan works at @brothers_daley in Sea Bright, New Jersey. I was asked to judge a competition at their bar and met this insanely talented young man. Since then, I’ve visited again a half dozen times or so just to sit and be taken care of by him. A week ago, Aidan served me this cocktail and it sparked the fire to finally start this series—and I figured you all deserved to enjoy it too. SARTI PARTY .5oz | 15ml fresh tangerine juice .5oz | 15ml gooseberry basil syrup .5oz | 15ml chamberyzette .75oz | 22.5ml Sarti Rosa 1oz | 30ml lime juice 1.5oz | 45ml blanco tequila Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin, add ice, shake hard and double strain over fresh ice with a savory salt rimmed glass. Garnish with an orange wedge.
