A low dose CT scan of the lungs can save lives and it's so easy. They can be expensive and right now, screening is only recommended for adults ages 50 to 80 with a 20-pack-year smoking history. But lung cancer is increasingly being diagnosed in young women and people who have never smoked, both groups not included in the guidelines and could catch lung cancer early!
