Today is International Day of the Girl and it’s about bringing attention to the challenges girls face around the world, promote girls’ empowerment and advocate for their rights. My dad and I are pushing back against stereotypes because we know what girls are up against. Girls should be better prepared to challenge it without internalizing the stereotypes.
